hey all we need to have a end of year meet next month That way all CLC's can make the trip

the last two times we where going to meet know one showed up and that was last month when I went to a car show in kanapolis were I was to meet 5 to 10 other people who said they were coming and no one came my sister and I was the only ones their after sertain people said they were coming that really maid me mad.

If we can have a meet next month can it be on the 13th of november that's a saturday and that can be the end of this years meets ontill next year.

Mabe that day we can just hang out and have fun or if theres a show lets go it will be the last time I'll see ya'll till next year.

And if any one sees or hears from fevo7 let him know I would like to have my club banner it's been 3 to 4 months since I paid for it mabe next meet I can get it.

Yes this is off topic from the deals gap sorry it's been a long time since I've been online and I finally got to say what I wanted.

Anyone who didn't make the trip you missed a great time. John where did you go when we left the hotel? We waited then went back and you were gone, hope you made it home ok.

What do you guys think about going back around the end of March? Mabey try to get more people together......

 

It was a freakin blast! will get some pics up here today or tonight. Slowryd had a camera and mount so he got some footage of the gap as well and once i get my hands on it to edit it and what not i will post it up as well. We probably did close to 900miles the total trip.

We went to the gap sat morning got a few runs in and man was that ever and adrenaline rush ! then it got busy so we decided to take some other back roads up to cherokee and go to harrahs casino. that took almoast 3 1/2 hours lol. we accidently took a wront turn and hit a senic route of part of the mountains and ended up going a max of 10mph. It was some awesome scenery though the leaves changing and what just incredible so we were not to mad we made the wrong turn . Then we made our way back to the hotel for the evening.

Sunday we were upseat because the roads were wet so we could not go run the gap again before we left .. so we decided to take 64 back and go through the highlands area to charlotte and then hit 85 from there. The higlands had some fun roads and one area where there is a waterfall that is just off the road that you can drive under. and it falls into this big *** hole and flows under the road it was just increddible.

So all in all it was a great trip lots of fun driving, some nice scenery, NO Accidents, and NO Tickets (i think the average speed of traffic on the way home was almoast 90mph. and we were crusing around 85 and people passing us at 100+, nedless to say we saw 2 of them pulled over by our lovley state troopers)

 

IM up for another trip anytime we can make it . might have to stay one more day though . 2 was just not enough

 

Yup, it was a blast. Even with my cold, I am feeling the rush when we were going through the gap. There's one bad thing on the trip, it's when we made that u-turn on the highway. My front bumper clipped the metal drain and some plastic came off. I will need to take the front off and re-align it. If anyone knows how to take the bumper off, let me know. Other than that, I will go again!!!

Damn that sux about the bumper. from what i hear the bumper is pretty easy to take off. we can tackle that maybe this weekend

I am going too make the trip next time, I was just there a month ago and had a blast. Burned up about 200miles in "The Gap" on a Monday morning, just awesome

(off topic) I like that idea about the end of the year meet. If anybody is interested. The 13 sounds ok but howbout the 27th or something? That way all bases are covered and those nasty college kids like me will be on break. If anyone is interested I'll start up a new thread about it.
