today i tried to use VHT niteshades to tint the corner of my headlights.. it isnt turning out so well, i used up 3/4 of the can and its not even close to dark yet... do u guys have practice using that stuff?

So I've come to the conclusion that I have crappy luck...

I popped my hood and and looked at my SRI and thought it looked kinda weird... upon further inspection I noticed how rusty looking it was and noticed the whole chromey bit that's usually on the end was missing and was lodged down in my engine... lol

So I smushed it back on for now...

I have no luck... maybe I shouldn't own a car haha

 

that doesnt sound good. well there is going to be a raffle soon for one of the AEM Intakes donated for our test, so who knows for 15 bucks you might score a new intake.

 

I'd have a better chance if I even had $15 to blow lol I'm so poor... bleh.

That suxs lancer girl bring to the meet and we'll see what we can do about the problems hmmm so where is it rusted and how bad. If need so all you need to do is sand the rust down and epoxy prime it. I'll see if i can find some I used it on my car and airplanes and trust me that stuff is crazy. I also have high temp black paint so a bit of sanding/sandblasting, paint, dry and throw into a fire and your ready to go.

 

Well the filter itself looks kinda dirty and gross (its kinda orangey instead of red). I didn't actually look at the chromey piece, I was in a hurry so I just picked it out of the engine and smashed it back on and haven't looked at it since lol

But it's not even a year old, is that supposed to happen? I wouldn't think it's ever gotten too wet or anything...

 

red? is it's an k&N filter?
all you need to do is take it off wash apply oil and your set to go. my viberant is like that I found it let too much dust in so I went back to AEM now I got 2 filter ^^ stupid me I though the other one was lost.

 

I dunno what kind of filter it is, whatever RRM used. I was told to call them tommorrow, maybe he'll just send me a new filter for free.
