11% out of a 59L tank is 6.49L
5% is 2.95L
yeah i was driving home one day from up north doing 80km/hr and my economy was at 6.4L / 100kms

in theory if i kept at that rate for a 59L tank thats 920 kms.... best i have gotten was 720km on 55L but that was during the break in period where i didn't abuse my engine... now i get 450 - 500 kms before my light comes on usually 49 - 55 L to fill it up

while we're on this topic of fuel consumption, my fuel economy sucks... where can i get an air filter? I know that has to be changed LOL

I have a CVT.

I get about 500+ km on a full tank of gas.
I get more if I go on the highway more (but not much)
This is with 50% Highway Driving, and 50% City.

I do use A/C in the summer (almost all the time... I get hot easily), but I don't really use heat in the winter (only enough to defog my windsheild if I need to).

(I only bring this thread back up, because I notice you guys are getting some pretty low mileage compared to me. I'll be the new benchmark ^.~ d)

there is away to get the km up there but you gotta be real disciplined. Acceleration under 1500rpm super cruising under 2000rpm in the city, i went from the 500km per tank to about 580 when its mixed city and hwy driving.

I have to agree the evo has pretty poor gas mileage even with a not so spirited driving session. One tank to cayuga and back from where I live, 45 mins north of Toronto.

I know the feeling...
OK. 09RA has 55L tank. 1st empty comes on - I fill it up and it take around 44L each time. 2nd empty on - takes in around 47L... so I still have about 7 liters to use)))
On the other note - 1 tank for 380klicks.... 70% city. But I was able to get it to go for 500klicks on one tank. Though plz don't try to do it.... Every granny will beat you on start))))) hehe

i drove to toronto from barrie on boxing day at 130km/hour, revving at about 3900 rpm in 5th and chew through half a tank by the time i got to mccowan and the 401...

on empty, 22L of gas will take me around 170km range.... thanks to the sprint booster and the exhaust system, both made my ride more enjoyable but gas consuming LOL!

yes... i have fun with my ride ^_^

a few guys have messaged me about the American ECU tune. i am strongly considering it.

the Canadian tune does not properly take advantage of MAF sensor readings. its un interested in running aggressive. it sticks to the maps and doesnt give a crap about how cold or hot things are. exhaust will definately help.

But one thing for sure, our fuel economy sucks

I have 05 lancer ralliart and 400 km on tank not suprising for me sometime I get only 300 km our gas tank is only 40L small so we kind of getting 10:1 ratio. But man 6000-7000 rpm ^^
