TLC 2009 Spring/Summer Tire buy

Winter is finally coming to and end, and if your like me driving a 2008 GTS you might notice your Dunlops are nearing the end of their tread life. For others it could be they are just looking for a better performing tire. After working with dealerships and some shops, we are now going to finally get the tire replacements we deserve. In the coming weekends a few dealerships will sign on to the TLC pact as well as a few independent shops. As time goes on, other deals will prop up for specialty tires and even RIMs. So keep your eyes peeled to this thread. In the mean time I will attempt to layout the tires we are going to select at the official TLC suggested replacement tire vs. OEM. The tire prices are still being finalized and we will still support a two tier pricing system. One for TLC insider who have purchased a large ticket item (purchased an item over 300$ in value or more) and a regular TLC price which will still be very good deal. This will be reflected in the estimate range below. They are not the finalized price and the price may drop further.
You may notice that the Exclaim General Tire is the number one preferred tire for the Lancer and possibly for the EVO X, with performance and cost being pushed to the top of the list of considerations. There is a huge list of tires to choose from but every time we did the research we kept coming back to the Exclaim UHP. Its not the best tire in the world, but it gets the job done and actual users of the tire have a hard time saying no to it. When it comes to the EVO X there is a higher demand of performance which surpass what the Exclaims can offer. We will be adding the following tires as just to start and more may follow as soon as the all suppliers agree on the set price.
BFGoodrich G-Force SPORT
BFGoodRich G-Force T/A KDW
BFGoodRich G-Force T/A KDW 2 (brand new tire, still working out the price)
Good Year F1 All Season
More tires TBA
Finally this is to address all those posts that will pop up with someone saying that, "oh I can get that tire cheaper here or there" My answer to that is, in this market place its possible to get everything cheaper elsewhere, the reason why I perfer to deal with my group of suppliers is because I know when it comes to quality, either of the product or their service, they are second to none. I know that if there is an issue with an install, or a complaint that they will be able to deal with it no problem. I cant say that about just any shop. Also I am attempting to bring the dealers into the fold and allow them to handle some of these matters. Its nice to go to a dealership and not feel like your being held hostage for once over the price.
As I finalize the agreements with the dealerships, I will announce who they are shortly. If you see something below that you like please contact me at evosoul.com@gmail.com

Canadian Dollars which is good, but you still gotta pay Canadian Taxes like everyone else
hehe
As I a said earlier, anyone can come up with lower prices, and everyone is free to buy from anyone they wish, but when it comes from the alliance of dealers or vendors I work with, I and the people who buy items from Official TLC group buys have peace of mind that they are getting quality goods, a decent price and if anything goes wrong (unlikely, but hey thats life in the world we live in) I know without a doubt that it will be taken care of properly. Leaving me and others charged with seeking new business and group buys.
So to boil it down, if you buy here you are in fact supporting the car club and getting a pretty good deal at the same time. The Secondary purpose is revenue generation for the car club.
Cheers
I know I just got 3 orders as well, and I will be upgrading my Dunlops in a few weeks as well, I am just a little busy importing a hood and repairing my front URBAN lip * super battle damage.
But ya the Exclaims are a great deal if you have tire

installation is not included ,but can be done for I believe 50-75 dollars or so. it varies because you can have these purchased at a participating local tire shops (even cheaper in some cases) or at participating Dealerships

Just a reminder, if you are interested in purchasing these tires they can be acquired at now two Mitsubishi dealerships at the prices above. (one in the east and one in the west end of the GTA). installs can get discounted a little bit over dealership regular prices.
Also the introduction discount prices will expire April 10th, so be advised. Tires can also be delivered as well.

FAQ keeps coming up why this tire, why not tire X or tire Y. A few reasons specifically for the Lancer GTS guys. both the Good Year tires offer a sidewall design that goes out of its way to protect your GTS rim from curb rash. lol if you look at any GTS owners tires, you will for sure see curb damage on one of them. At this time I would like to personally thank my girlfriend for applying damage to all 4 of my rims
thanks hunny, job well done. I am making the change to these tires but i fear its too late lol
A video about the GoodYear F1 Tire can be found here.

Tires are restocked. The number one question I got at the meet was, are these prices in USA dollars. The answer is no. They are Canadian prices and if you look, they are an amazing deal!
Message me if you are looking for replacement tires. lol if your at the 30,000 km point then your tire will be near or at the end of its life. Which means your ability to resist hydroplaining will be reduced.
