as for the plates, you cant have it in the windo, it has to be somewhere on the front bumper

 

Technically I think the law only says the plate has to be mounted on a forward facing direction on the car. So the front window is technically legal... but cops will harass you if it's not on your bumper.

I remember Jim Kenzie going on a rant about this because he had a plate on the windshield of a car he was testing and got harrassed by a cop for it.

 

Ya Im not 2 sure myself but I do know a few cops and they all say "It must be on the front bumper" I alo got my ***** busted when I got pulled over w/ no front plate, and I even asked him about it bc I didnt want to drill holes in my bumper and told me I would still get a ticket for it not being on the front bumper.. Some one call judge Judy!

 

It has to be on the front of the car.. you can't see it through the windshield unless you get up close generally.
