Front Bumper Vinyl

hi, i have a few questions regarding the vinyl for the front bumper.

1. Does it withstand rocks/pebbles or will it mark
2. Is it removable without messing with the paint
3. How does it cover the holes for the license plate screws
4. Where can i have this done in the GTA, and how much $

also, i'd like to know if it is possible to get the ralliart chrome trim to be done somewhere in the gta?

thank you.

If you want to do vinyl, you can go to Shinzo in Markham; they do a lot of car vinyling. They just did my roof recently and also tinted my taillights (there’s a group special going on right now). You can also pick up some vinyl and try it yourself. It's very easy to remove the vinyl afterwards if you change your mind.

IMO, I think you'll still see the screw holes when you vinyl the front bumper, not as bad, but I think it'll be noticable. What I did instead was I bought the RRM bumper cap so I knew that I wouldn't see any holes.

thanks, i called up shinzo and got a pricing. I am still wondering if, for those of you who have done it, does it cover the license plate holes nicely, or is it noticeable?

Mike, I am working out pricing with Shinzo, so in the vent you end up paying more then what will come above because of a club discount, I will ensure you will get credit back or get some discount for anything else.

That said, Shinzo's quality is top notch. and i havent heard negative things about them.

The best way to deal with the holes is to go behind the bumper and ensure you fill the holes from the back. This way, over time, they holes will not get pushed in by wind resistance. Shinzo may opt to put a patch over the wholes. its hard to sasy since i dont see how they do it. But I havent seen any problems from the finish products

great to hear about the quality, but im not sure about how the discount works. i called them earlier today they told me they'd be open til 6 and i got there around 5:30 and no one was there. a little disappointing but i then realized i need to wait to get the side mount plate kit first either way. /offtopic/ does anyone know where i can get one of these locally?

You have to make an appointment with Shinzo. They are not always there.
