Hmm..
I guess it's safe to say that this meet is officially cancelled.
Weather really isn't on our side right now.
But no worries coz next year, we will definitely do this again.
Oh for sure!
I'm thinking 3, maybe 4 meets for next season.
1 in spring, 2 in summer (maybe a wasaga cruise or whatever and a BBQ thing or potluck), and an early fall one (this time just before it gets really really cold).

I would like to actually meet up now... we can set a date in the future... with all the stuff going on the Philippines.... does anyone have a list of fund raisers that are going on for relief?
just wanted to throw it out there

funny thing is me and my sister were just talking about this last night.
I'll ask around if there's any and I'll let you know!

yeah, it was a house that got washed down the river and there were like 7-8 kids on the roof..it was going down the river towards this bridge and with the water so high from all the rain, that gap between the water and bottom of the bridge was only a foot..and as the roof passed under it broke apart and not one survived.
so sad..
I'm glad my mom and sister and other relatives were aight - most that happened to them was lost of electricity supply.
So, as for the fund raiser thingy, here are a couple of links that my sister came across.
