just checking out if there is any interest in having a tlc race team for 2010 season next year , cscs has a fwd class and im sure there are many other events that can be entered , im not talking about drag im talking about tracking your car meaning save money for rubber and get working on suspension

would be cool to get another 3 or 4 people down and start hittin the track

im done with my ride this year , jus gonna stack some cash and save for what i need to save for next year , hopefully i will be getting another car to that way if i **** up my lancer i have a back up ,

if you guys are serious about tracking your lancers, maybe we should do a group buy on some serious coilovers.. megans or teins aren't going to cut it.. they are designed for street driving and will fail probably after 1 track day.. Depending on how many people we can get, we may be able to get a deal where pricing is low enough to compare to pricing of the teins or megans if not just a bit more. I'm looking for a suspension sponsor for my car, and having the group buy + the TLC track team may help for any discounts.. You guys should also consider some track brake pads and some sticky tires... Getting a very good set of coilovers and getting them dialed in properly for the track is key and will probably be the biggest purchase. You dont necessarily have to be fastest on the track... Those interested, have a look at the rules on the cscs website for the time attack stock appearing class. You'll find many of the cars competing have the same power if not close to it as the lancers. Seat time is also key.
