so what the hell happened with the nissan crowd at yorkdale??

 

im surprised no one knew about the nissan fiasco. they had one of the biggest toronto nissan club meets last year at yorkdale, and a lot of the 240sx / 300zx guys were doing burnouts, donuts and attempting drifts in the yorkdale parking lot. security called police, and the crowd split. some headed west (i think woodbridge area) while most of them went to highway 7 area (commerce gate to be precise).

i was in my friends 240sx during all of this and let me say, it was honestly like a Fast and Furious scene. Cruisers were in pursuit and I remember clearly there were 2 skylines booking it down highway 7 at an excess of 150km+ all the while helicopters with their spotlight were attempting to scan out all those that were escaping.

its hard to put everything into words, it definitely was a car meet that got out of hand.

Seriously though, we were at Wendy's in our '06 Jetta when the Skyline showed up, at that time Skylines didn't seem like they were all that known (not to me anyway) so my brother was all excited to see one in person. So we sat and talked to the guy then a bunch of other cars showed up and then the cops showed up so we all went driving. It was a fun night

I would've liked it more if it was a bunch of nice cars haha.

Yeah but us small town people have never seen a police chopper show up like that in our lives haha. Thought it was kinda funny.

i may or may not know of "someone" who unknowingly was being followed by the chopper while stretching the legs on his.. we'll say Lancer.. and to this day wants a copy of the infared video of them doin 205 in an 80 and getting a warning.. whoops, guess "he" was pretty lucky
