Next meet will be wednesday august 12th @ kennedy commons chapters parking lot , start time is gonna be pushed up to 8 this time which still gives us enough time to get our spots but not there too long so that we wana leave when **** gets goin there

Well...I think I'm officially giving up on meets LOL. I don't ever seem to have the right week days off anymore.

 

dont just yet! there might still be hope!

 

I dunno, I seem to just have weekends off anymore. I got to 2 meets at least? Club doesn't seem as active as it was last year.

Last year there was car shows and cruises and such... *shrugs* not just sitting in a parking lot talkin for a couple hours.

 

i'll check this meet out for sure.

wanted to reach for a bit yesterday but was too busy gambling my life away in fallsview. that and was shopping for my s2k. thoroughly disappointed with the straight-line speed, though it is a cornering beast for sure.

 

^^ You're changing cars again? LOL Always liked the look of the S2K. Hard top though, right?

 

this is off topic...

if i go s2k route, it is 24/7 top down for me. one of the biggest selling points of the s2k personally is the fact that it's a convertible. there aren't many alternatives in terms of convertible in this category... well there's the 350z drop top but that doesn't count 'cause it looks like *** (imo anyway). the hardtop is definitely nice to have though on those windy / rainy days, but a painted-to-match hardtop runs about 4g. yikes!

i tried both a AP1 with 9000rpm and an AP2 with 8000rpm, disappointed with both. I could only feel the power at 6k and the power lasts only for 2-3rpm then its upshift.

i believe I am destined for the FD.

 

club doesent seem as active anymore???? dunno bout that the club is more active then ever , we have weekly meets at the best spot in the city , cscs events ,test n tunes , taking part in import fest , getting a good bar as our spot for after meets , etc... i can keep going


and the whole point of car meet is to meet up with your club and other clubs and chill and chat , thats why its called a car meet ,
