Not to be picky...but on their site, I dont see this product listed for anything but the Evo X. I know the suspension components are different on that compared to all other model lancers. What confirmation do you have that they fit?

It was confirmed by a admin on another forum. Hydrolikz can vouch for this.Originally Posted by suprPHREAK

You wont have to worry since the rear suspension on the ralliart is the exact same as the evo anyway.
I will go out tonight and take some measurements to just absolutely confirm with perrin before the order is placed.
Obviously it would be retarded to order a bunch and have them all not fit.

Sorry for the noob
Turbo Time, for those who arent familure with Suspension... myself included. what are the benefits for the track and for real world driving as well. Meaning , non race track stuff.
I did read the original post, anything else to add about it

Basically front wheel drive cars generally understeer. That is to say that when turning a corner, the front wheels are performing both the action of changing direction, and moving the car forward. The faster you're traveling, the hard it is for the front wheels to perform both actions at the same time, without causing you to turn in a wider arc than if you'd been driving slower. The wider the arc, the more you're understeering. To counter understeer, you have to reduce speed by lifting off the gas.
This sway bar reduces the understeer meaning you can corners faster. Good example for regular street driving would be if your taking an on ramp onto the 401 and its a very sharp ramp with a very short merging lane, you would be able to take the ramp at a much faster speed instead of having to floor it as you exit the turn into the merging lane.
hope that helps.

No, it isnt, hence my concern. Ralliart actually doesnt share any suspension components with the Evo. It also isnt the same as the GTS, either.
But if you are going to measure to be sure, and it is sure, then I'm in.

Yeah I know eh? From what I understand, the Ralliart is more of a hopped up GTS than a de-tuned Evo. I know for a fact that most Evo components will not fit the Ralliart (ie: coilovers), and the evo is a wider track. The control arms and what not are derived from the Outlander, and the shocks are GTS with stiffer springs to manage the extra weight of the AWD system.Originally Posted by turbotime

So, that said, I'm sure the new sway bar will be an improvement, just want to make sure it will actually fit in there! :-) I just took a gander under my car, and I'm certian the existing pieve is less than 25mm.
I plan to be out at the meet on weds, if you want a closer look.
I'll take some pics and measurement tonight if I get a chance and will go from there. Maybe compare to yours once I post up mine.
According to research and comparing technical and mechanical specifications of both the Evo X and Lancer ES, GTS, and RA this is what was found.
The Evo X Front Stabilizer Bar Diameter is 25mm and the rear is 23mm. The front stabilizer on the Lancer ES is 20, the GTS is 21, and the RA is 22. The rear ES is 18 and the GTS/ RA is 20. If our rear is 20 we cant go to crazy throwing on a 27mm, 25 should be ok. You cant really go to stiff on our cars.
