The planning for the EVO X cars are complete, and their is a 2.0L engine tests lined up. But we really need to have a Bone Stock RalliArt with less then 20,000km on it bone stock.
What hardware might be given away is up for debate, but its likely you will score some free oil for your trouble Mobil 1 5w30 Tests involved will likely be one exhaust bolt on as well as intake options for the RalliArt. We are also looking at a Battery relocation kit to see what EVO X options are within spec / tune for RalliArt Application More on this later in the week. thanks we have submitted the request to mitsubishi for a ralliart , but we dont want to exhaust their good well for what they have already pledged

 

When is this dyno day? And is it only for mitsu's?

 

Yes this is only for Mitsubishi cars for Bench marking performance. Since the roster is being expanded because more vendors are interested in sending us Hardware, it looks like it will take the whole day. Set for January or Feb like last year. Its not really a Dyno Day for the public since no one has the right tires and hardware equipped during these cold months. If everything goes well, then these cars will all be Mitsu Corp cars.

But we are getting stand in cars to be on the safe side, april 2008 the EVO X we got from Mitsubishi had the wrong Octane fuel in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAtu8...eature=related basically a pr car lent out that someone who evaluated the EVO cheaped out and put crap fuel in

It just wouldnt stabilize, was down almost 20 to 30 hp from where it should have been. IT was a good thing that Ted was able to step in and save the day
