you need to strip the paint off plastic body parts before you use it on them? also how heat resistant is it?

I did my front grill, and didn't need to strip any paint off, just covered what ever I didn't want black and sprayed. Only thing is you have to be careful when taking the tape/paper off, make sure you score a line (I used a toothpick) around the edge so the plastic paint doesn't peel off. And from what I've heard and seen you don't even need to do that when you do your rims (I sanded the clear coat down and used flat black paint on mine).

since this is a rubber based paint is is resistant to heat cracking, as well as being great at super low cold temps.

Its perfect

I was just looking at getting some for my grill and the center piece below in on the bumper and was curious as to if it would stick well without me sanding it provided the parts are cleaned well... does it come in other colours besides black?
