I ordered this online from a Mitsu dealership in the US after a confirmation e-mail claiming it fits the 2010 GTS no problem:

After receiving the order I went to see and it definitely doesn't fit my new 2010 Lancer GTS skirt properly, they look different shapes even though the part number: MZ314116 claims its designed for the 2008+ models with side skirts?

Has anyone had any experience with these OEM Mud Guards? Originally I had asked at my dealership here in Toronto if they could obtain them somehow and they said they couldn't so I went ahead and ordered them (since only rear are available here).

Is it possible that the Canadian Lancer really has a different side skirt? The pictures in the instructions for installation seem to show the right part, but it definitely doesn't seem to match my actual car's skirt.

 

isnt the mudguards only for non-sideskirt lancers? well the front ones that is...

 

According to them and several places on the internet there are two parts:

MUDGUARDS,_FRONT,_W/SIDE_AIR_DAMS # MZ314116 (ONLY UNTIL SEPT. 2009 PRODUCTION )

and

MUDGUARDS,_FRONT #MZ380400EX

Apparently the first one (which I ordered) is for meant for the models with side skirts, and the second is for those without.

 

i bought them from the dealer and they fit, i have gts side skirts installed.

 

I'm going to take them to my dealership tomorrow and see what they say, I'm wondering if maybe there's a difference in the skirt sizing for the 2010 vs the 2009/08?

Guess I'll see for sure tomorrow!
