I bought my injen CAI yesterday and installed it today.

The check engine lights are on. Any known issues with you guys?

 

reset your ECU; i think its like disconnect the battery for ~ 10 minute.. plug it in and let the car idle for about 5min to relearn parameters

 

i disconnected the battery, worked like a charm.

 

^ In the new lancers you dont have to disconnect the battery, in the fuse box there is a black switch you can pull up with the white fuse clip and that disconnets the main fuse from the battery.

Alittle FYI for the future.

 

never knew, just was based on what i knew from my mazda

 

the light came on after a while of driving? or right after u finish the install?

 

lights were on right after installing.
