Anyone done this mod? Apparently the OEM Ralliart Intake duct fits the GTS too. I like what they guy did by cutting a whole in the rad cover and put some moulding on the inside of his hood to get a better air channel to the duct.

I wonder if this would have a benefit if you were using an SRI, might force more outside air towards it.

Only downside is that its like $140 CAD from the dealership apparently :S, only $70 or so in the US. Group buy?

 

a few guys up here have done it. the theory behind it is that it will scoop more cold air. It might be a little louder as well.

 

Any ideas on how doing this duct with the stock air box and a drop in filter perform/sound? Kinda debating this option versus the SRI now.
