I went to a Saab Club of Canada Enhanced driving school. There's a small amount of in-class time... then you spend a lot of time on track with an instructor... and then you may end up on track on your own. It runs the entire day... so you get PLENTY of on track time. I did it at Dunnville and then at Shannonville. Shannonville was nicer because they include a skidpad as well. At first I didn't think much of the skid pad portion... but after actually being on the skid pad... it is PLENTY of fun!

Can you post the contents of that post? I can't see it because I'm not a member of the Mazda3 club.

I've been wanting to attend Ian Law Racing's Track School for some time now and finally decided to pull the trigger. I have been in contact with Ian and he has agreed to give TM3 a GB price model. This offer is not exclusive to TM3 members, so if you have a friend / relative, whoever, that would like to attend please feel free to invite them.

I know we have members who have experienced ILR Track School so hopefully someone will share their experiences with us.

So, what you do you get from attending this school? Aside from spending time in your car, talking about cars, and kickin' it with a bunch of car nerds; you get in-class training, on-track instruction, lunch, a handbook, and a certificate = good times! Also, Track School is a prerequisite for attending lapping days with ILR.

The regular price is $350 for the day, however, Ian has extended TM3 the following:

5-9 cars $325
10+ cars $300

Track School will be held at Mosport DDT. Driver's must supply their own cars.

From what I understand the dates tend to fill up quickly and there are other clubs interested in the same date. If you are interested please sign up. For those that do not want their name posted in the open forum please send me a PM. I'll leave this GI open for about 2 weeks.
As of right now
Current List:
1. Jason (payment sent)
2. Taz4432
3.
4. Noisy Crow (payment sent)
5. -cj- (50/50, have a vacation in August and need to confirm the dates first, otherwise I'm in for sure)
6. horto (payment sent)
7.
8.
9.
10.

Yeah do let us know. I want to go through some track/advanced driver training before really trying out anything on a track.
