When is good for a meet and Where in the east end?

2 far for my blood
something more west would be better for me but I'm only one guy. Well me and my best bud. So leaves out 2 Evos

 

This only happens once a week guys, lets get the ball rolling and lets establish an Evo community here in Toronto. We'll start on which day is convenient for everyone and go from there. We'll try to find a good location for us, so that everyone can be there. Inputs are welcome. Feel free to speak up and share your ideas. ANd guys lets stay on the topic here dont jack the thread.

So Wednesday is out because of the Toropnto Lancer Club meet at Kennedy Commons? Is Tuesday out too because of the TLC meet on the west side? I think Friday's may not be good either... because if people have social events... there's a good chance they will be on Friday... and that would divert them away from the meet.

So I guess my vote is for Thursday!

About locations... what about having it Central? It seems like there's a group of guys in the east... and a group of guys in the west. So maybe Central would allow both sets to meet at the same time? My friend plans the Audi club meets... and he has his meets at the Home Depot parking lot which is just north of Yorkdale. That should make it about the same amount of effort for all people to get to. And it's just off the 401.

 

Sounds good Im in. I love where the suby guys meet at the Krispy cream think it's hurontario just south of 401. So many ways to get there and gives the Hamilton/Kitchener Waterloo guys atleast a chance.. I'm not saying this bc I live 25 min from there but think it's very good for everyone and so many HWYs that meet

also thurs nights would be good. Maybe meet beside the Scooby guys. It's a huge parking lot

 

I have no problems combining our Evo meets with TLC if that's what you guys want. But I think we might want to find another location instead of KC since it's so crammed full of people on Wed.

I'll be showing up for both anyway.

Central sounds like a good idea.

 

I am ok with combining both for Wednesday, but I recommend a speciality meet for each on a alternative day of the month to have it separate so the respective crowd and spread their wings abit.

Also, I have been talking to Yorkdale security about working something out. Close to a deal just gotta run it by management. You guys are going to like this

 

My vote is Thrusday. As for location, theres a parking lot where my buddy has their meet (5sec club). Its at bayview and yorkmills area, alot of higer end car club there.. I only been there once with their C63 and DB7.

Hi, I am new to this forum and driving a EVO X MR, I think its a great idea to have regular meets. (I have not really seen a lot of evo on the road). As soon as we can confirm timing and location, you can count me in.

What about the frequency of the meets? I think every week would sorta diminish how special it is... and people won't make an effort to show up. Some clubs do monthly meets... that way it keeps it special and people will make an effort to show up.

But maybe we should do it every two weeks now since there seems to be so much interest?

 

Every 2 weeks sounds a bit better to me.
