Does anybody have a Go Pro Camera we can use? I wanted to get one... but every time I consider the cost... I say I'll do it "later"... lol

 

Also... we still need to agree on what route we'll take to get to Niagara. I still think Ridge Road from Hamilton to Niagara Falls is best.

But what about getting from Toronto to Hamilton?

So there are some things left to be settled...

Where should we meet to start the cruise?
We should all meet in one location to start the cruise. Somebody suggested meeting at Home Depot near Yorkdale since it's central in Toronto and we've had meets there before. Others have suggested meeting in Mississauga since we need to drive west to get to Niagara anyways.

What time should we meet to leave for the cruise?
Times between 10am and 1pm have been spoken about... but we should decide on a time.

What route should we take to get to Niagara Falls?
Ridge Road is a nice backroad to take from Hamilton to Niagara Falls... but how should we get to the Hamilton Area? QEW? Regular roads?

Guys... give your opinions!

 

i think he will meet at the starting point to start the Cruise! And for the start just have it at the Home depot Its easy and most everyone knows where it is and is right close to the Highway Done!!!

Crester make a route that u think we should take and then show ous threw mapquest etc and we can decide. Time we dont wanna get there to early meet isnt until later in the evening ? Jeff help me out on the time frame here?

 

Time to leave from yorkdale i think between 2-4pm is good depending what we doing in niagara.

If we leave At 3 for example, well meet ppl in hamilton for 330-345 and leave from there latest 4;15, get niagara around 5 , take some pics, maybe eat and head to the big meet? Night time ppl can go casino/strip or cruise back,

hey crester i will be joining you guys in hamilton but if you guys meet in Mississauga ill come up then cruise down with you guys

 

I really don't see any good backstreet options from Toronto to Hamilton. I went with a group of guys on Lakeshore Blvd... and it becomes very scenic... but it can also be slow. Dundas will be filled with traffic lights.

As for highways... QEW will be packed with traffic around oakville for sure... and will literally be stopped.

Highway 407 will work well... but I don't know if people will wanna pay to drive on it.

 

Naa for playing to use a road.. Lets just use QEW then, im sure we can handle 20 mins of traffic until it opens up passed Third line.

 

Alright... so unless people start expressing other opinions... let's say the following...

Cruise Date: Saturday, August 21, 2010
Meeting Location/Time: We'll meet at Home Depot near Yorkdale (90 Billy Bishop Way) at 12:00pm

Cruise Route: QEW from Toronto to Hamilton... Ridge Road from Hamilton to Niagara Falls
