Sprint Booster V2 Install

Greetings TLC,

I purchased the latest Sprint Booster to hit the market a couple weeks ago at JRP. The new version has a wired remote which you can select multiple pre-programmed levels of responsiveness. I had JRP install it, and they suggested that I mount the remote in the glove box with the two-way tape that comes included. Does anyone that has the latest version have pics of how they ran the wire? I'd prefer not to start ripping apart my dashboard if I can avoid it...

Most people I've seen with it run the wire to the cover on the fuse panel just below the "ASC OFF" button.

If it was me, I'd just put it in the fuse box or beside the "buttons" that we have above the fuse box. But if you really want it in the glove box, you can take a clothes hanger, straighten it out, and bend a small little hook on one end. Then you pop the glove box down (the two little pieces of plastic on either side of it when its open) let it drop down then thread the wire from the driver side into the glove box, hook the wire and pull through. I did it when I wired in my L.E.D.'s in my foot wells.

I appreciate the prompt feedback! I like the idea of mounting it by where the ASC off buttons would be on some of the other models. I have a GTS so its just black plastic place holders that I would have to remove. I must say I wasn't to fond of the idea of running it to the glove box...

I just disconnected the cable all together, for a cvt tranny you want to keep it in Red mood. Its tuned just right. Once you disconnect the cable, the sprint booster will remain in that mod forever

Well for starters, that cable was a beeyotch to remove from the module. I do like the idea of mounting the remote, however I want to remove one of the 3 unused black plastic caps on the dash (that the evo uses) and put the remote in place of one of them. Not sure how to go about that one though...

why not just stick it directly on top of the unused black buttons?
that's what I did and ran it under the fuse panel

Looks like I just might end up having to take the easy way out and do that. It's good to get some ideas though on how other people went about mounting their remotes.
