Driving School

I'm looking for a driving school for my wife, and hopfully she gets another car.

I went to some no-name guy who taught me wreckless driving + a whole new dictionary of swear words....luckily started to drive a bit since I was 12 lol and didn't learn anything from my instructor....cost me only $280 bucks though...

basically tell me the name of the place u went to, experience? and if u remember, the price u paid...(for class + 10hrs driving)...

i did college of defensive driving when I wanted to get my G2, the price was like 350 or something, in class and on road training, really good, and fairly priced and gives u that insurance certificate.

I did YD many years ago. They did a decent job for basic driving.

The problem I have with most driving courses is they’re incomplete. Courses will teach theory without the practical experience, an example is skid control. The other issue is some instructors teach you how to pass a test not how to drive.

It sounds like your wife already has a licence. If so, I would opt for some advance training like skid school.

lols! Stig should have a driving school!

But yeah for driving schools, theres one here in mississauga. Name is Bernie`s driving school, google it. Prices are a bit high but theyre a recognized driving school and have great reviews. I did my driving school with mitsubishi... lol i never went to an accredited driving school...just...started driving the cars in the lot, and then on roads, and then highways... while your at it though, get your wife to Learn Manual! Request for a manual car and lessons! It`ll save you time, scratches, clutches, and more!

once actually, i went to scarb mitsu and they let me drive a stick 2.4ltr lancer, man if u dump the clutch, the car really really goes...
i'm going to look @ Young Drivers (tahts what YD means right?) i just don't want an asian dude teaching her because driving slow is my pet-peeve

YD actually looks like an alright program, i don't like the fact that it's a thousand bucks, i'd much rather buy some fuel injection goodies for my X but i guess it's ok....i paid $285 for my back-in-the-day LOL, cheap quality, cheap price, evn included his car for the road test...and let me drive on the highway a few times since we were late LOL...
