Anyone here running 55W fog lights? iv installed them on my car on the weekend and a buddy of mine told me that its going to melt my housing is that true?

 

i ve tried to install 35w to the fog lights n the lenses get so hot that i ve to take it back out~

 

Speaking of which anyone know how to wire fogs as DRLs?

 

runing 55W on the fogs might be dangerous. i recommend using 35W.

to run fogs for DRL, buy a 9006 and H11 pigtail (both female) to make the connection wiring for the fogs-DRL.

buy wire and solder/crimp.
