Sadly tho... that pic you posted is the best "artist rendering" I've seen of the next evo. All the rest look like utter crap. They'd make you run to the subaru dealership... that's how ugly they are.

 

The 2012 STI you posted...was what I were expecting for the 08 STI, turns out the updated 08 STI looks like damn Mazda 3. I think Mitsubishi is gonna go even softer for the evo in 2012, can't you tell mitsu likes to igonre it's fans while subi is the one that always listens and improves?

 

Yeah but don't forget... the only reason Subie is making such strong efforts to improve their STi now is because they effed up the 2008 model so bad. It's hard for Subie to make a worse car. I mean as it stands now... their WRX is faster than their halo STi car. What company would do that??? Imagine if people's Ralliarts were faster than our EVO's?

I think Mitsu will go more mainstream with the next EVO... but I Don't think they'll eff it up as badly as Subie did with the 08 STi hatch.

Dont pay attention to this article. Its not very accurate. I unfortunately know what is on the board for the future of the evo. There are two projected paths. Mitsubishi has to make a decision soon, or has made the decision over the holiday period.

Time will tell.

its not really bias. at least as much as a media / show program can be. But you will remember TOP GEAR has been more so on the side of Subaru every time they have gone head to head in previous generations.

 

I know clarkson has always been the evo guy....and his side kick - the sti

 

that concept looks a little to luxury sedan like... hopefully they don't go down that path.
