Mitsubishi Sales Numbers

CYPRESS, Calif. (AP) — Mitsubishi Motors North America said Tuesday that its December U.S. auto sales rose nearly 12 percent on strong sales of its Lancer Evolution sedan and Outlander Sport vehicle.

BY THE NUMBERS: Mitsubishi sold 4,874 vehicles, compared with 4,570 in December 2009.

HOT MODELS: Sales of the Outlander Sport rose 41 percent from November. Sales of the Lancer Evolution rose 95 percent, marking the largest single month of sales for the vehicle since April 2009.

As mentioned by someone else in another post somewhere. The Evo sales are most likely higher because last year they didn't have 2009 models, but were selling left over 2008s

If it makes you feel better, this was Mitsu's strongest December since their launch in Canada. I don't have the exact number, but it was over 1600 for December.

Yeah.... I'm curious too... what was Mitsubishi Canada's big eff up???

Mitsu is supposed to be unveiling some new compact concept car at the upcoming Geneva autoshow... looks like they are serious about going green because this car is gonna be powered by a 1.0-1.2L engine.

with the new mitsu dealer up here, they sell like crazy!! I'm really impressed to see the numbers of new mitsu's up here.

In my unit alone, out of 30 guys, there are 3 mitsu's now.
