Thank you - To the person who hit my car and drove off

Sigh.... this is the second time within a year this has happened. The first time, I parked on the street and after a party, I saw the paint on my bumper was messed up. Sigh so I dug deep and paid 400 for a new bumper. Ok..... but this time..... oh boy this time its going to be different. See the benefits to where we live is that there is a security camera. And given the angle of attack, that puts the plates in clear view. Nothing will give me the joy of knowing someone is going to get slapped with a "Leaving the scene of an accident." charge and fine. And my personal favorite, having your insurance go thru the *#$&ing roof

So I will sleep with a slight smile on my face.

I am not thrilled with having to go thru another bumper. But hey... it will get fixed

Which one of your cars got hit? Hope that guy gets caught.

A co-worker of mine was in the middle of a three car pile-up... and both the front and back cars left the scene! Luckily they were caught and he got the last laugh in court.

Mine got hit at work in mid december. Guy drove off so I got stuck with the bill. It was just the front fender, but turned into the bumper and headlight also. Came to over two grand with respray and everything. The worst part is it has to be someone I work with.

I feel your pain. Atleast in yours case, the person will be found.

Yeah, I was sorry to hear about that when we were talking last night, I hope you did get footage of the person who did it.

Can't believe how extremely irresponsible, not to mention questionable how someone could hit your *stationary* car enough to move it as much as you said.

Glad to hear it was all cosmetic damage though

Doesn't matter if u got the plate or not if it was in a parking lot. It's considered private property. Cops will do nothing. Insurance may or may not cover it in full...

lol that was the case before 2008. haha law has changed my friend. very very heavy hand. If you are with an insurance company that has there stuff together then they will go after the other party especially if they can identify them. The average person doesnt have these resources, but insurance companies have unlimited resources.

haha dont get me started on the story of when a shop drained my transmission and over filled my engine. haha Epic. once they signed the paper that they admitted fault. It was over. I scored a 5000 dollar brand new transmission on a 175,000km car. haha worth more than the car
