Hey guys Im getting back into Boxing and just wanted to know if anyone else Boxes or has Boxed?

I just moved to Mississauga beside Square one and see that there is a good looking Boxing Gym called HUF Boxing, Im going to cheak this out Friday!
Also looking into buying a pair of Rival gloves, any one use these or have herd of them?

Are you doing boxing training as an exercise? Or are you thinking of actually getting into fighting? Sparring? Do they use the term sparring in boxing?

Seems like MMA is all the rage now tho... plenty of those types of gyms openning up now.

Yep boxers are a dying breed. MMA is taking over.

 

Its a fad, it wont last as long as you think.. I do love MMA dont get me wrong but again it only got big bc of dana white.. there was always mixed martial arts, dana made it HUGE!
but wont last forever,, kind of like the 90's and WWF
Boxing will never die!

yes they still call it sparring lol
the only diffrence from when I boxed 4.5 yrs ago to now, is im alot older for starters, I had both shoulders with a 10% tare, and now have tendonitis in both shoulders, and have a breathing problem,, got asthma back and sinusitis
so ya its going to be a hard chalange but im up to it!
talk about a ****ty 4 yrs eh FML

 

I dont box, but its nice to know that there are other memebers in the TLC who do martial arts too

I have done a bit of martial arts just not enough to know enough about it othere then what I learn watching MMA lol
