Anyone running wheel spacers?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone locally is running hub centric spacers.

Thinking of getting some 15mm ones for myself. Any info/ good idea bad idea input would be appreciated.

Also if you have 15mm spacers and wouldn't mind me coming over and trying them out just to check stance/ fitment with my rims and drop it would be VERY appreciated.

Current setup is 18x9's +45 with spacers in rear so +37 rear +45 front

225/40 stretched rubber going wider

Dropped about 2'' on coils going to go more.

That's not THAT aggressive You can go about 27mm more on the rear and like 23mm more in the front before you're real aggressive. I'd go with H&R spacers because they've got the hub centric rings machined onto them. Since you're only running a a 9" wheel, it's going to need a lot of spacer to be really aggressive. If you want to go that route, I'd suggest selling your wheels and going to a 9.5" wide wheel, with an offset below +22.

Is that pic before you lowered it? It looks pretty nice in that shot, but definitely needs to be lower!

9.5 +30 is calling for some major camber and fender pulling... unless you stretch the hell out of 225 tires... might as well buy a VW.

i'm running 18x9 +30 245-40-18 and that just pushing it with a roll/pull all around.

This is what mine looks like before i went lower.

Here's a crappy pic after i went lower

Clint1291:

How much are spacers gonna run you? 250+? depending on brand?

Might as well sell your rims and use that extra cash towards the rims.

I think it's better if you sell the rims and just buy another set with a lower offset and get wider tires; but i'm sure you prob thought about this route and chose to go with spacers instead.

Yeah slyy I really like your setup aiming for something like that. However I really like my rims and you can't buy them anymore so I decided spacers lol. Havn't fully decided but wanted to try with someone elses spacers see the result and make my decision from there. I basically have the same setup as you but 15mm offset difference so I figured spacers to get what I want.

I have a set of 18x9.5 + 20 coming soon so I'll prob be keeping those but not sure

Yes the pic is after the drop its about 2'' all around. Going more next season but leaving it there for winter.

so question re: spacers..
obviously one would need extended studs to be able to fit 10mm & up spacers..
do I have to get them returned to the stock studs come winter time just so I can slap my winter steelies/OEM rims/tires?!?

You shouldn't have to switch back.

that is if I leave the spacers on when I put back my oems..
but what if I remove the spacers? - coz with it, my oem tires (205/60/16) might rub..
