"Not BS" Modified Car Show and Dance competition
Not BS stands for “Not By Sight” and is an event that has creatively collaborated the emotional expressions of both breakdancing and car modification into one event. Car modifying is seen as a hobby that alters a vehicle from its original state for the purpose of appearance and engine or handling performance. Breakdancing has been perceived as a physically demanding dance often viewed as a public spectacle. However, there is an artistic and emotional expression that cannot be seen By Sight when both car enthusiasts and breakdancers engage in their respective hobbies. We are all artists creating something from nothing.
The objective for Not BS is to provide an opportunity for community building and for artists to demonstrate their hard work. Your support will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to a Kenya missions fund and a summer camp for Children with special needs (Camp Eulogia). Event date is Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 1PM - 7PM at Wheels Direct (4732 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough). It is $10 for spectators, and $30 for Show n' Shine competitors. Please come early as space is limited.
