Help reading plugs

Hey guys, if Mark or Junior could chime in I would appreciate it. I just pulled the stock plugs to check them. The ring is black while the electrode / post is white/dull white. Is this a sign the car is running lean or what? I have lots of pictures and can post them if need be. Your input is much appreciated.

I then put in BPR8ES plugs and am getting the same color. I have no wideband right now to confirm a/f.

Nothing has been done to the car since you installed the cams and reflashed it in Pensacola (Black EVO/272's).

Thanks!

Sounds perfect.. The dull white electrode will normally go down the the ring of the base. The shorter the burn spot ( dull white ) the colder the plug. Hope this helps. I'd be happy to see pictures, but i know what your describing and your fine

Thanks alot. I just put a set of BPR8ES in. I will recheck. But it sounds like the 7's were doing just fine. Thanks again!
