Same EXACT Dyno.

BTW, if you're running the stock turbo, a 2.5" exhaust isn't necesarily robbing you of power. The 3" loses a little lowend and adds a little more topend. Me likey torquey.

I get full spoolup at 3100 RPMS, can't beat that. And I can GUARANTEE a 2.5 Exaust and Downpipe is robbing some whp ESPECIALLY with cams flowing that much more air.

A 3" downpipe will not lose any low-end over STOCK. It may over a 2.5inch, but not stock. Check out a dyno before/after with exhaust. The low-end is improved immensly followed by most at the mid-tange and a substantial gain at the top end of course.

While I dont have any data... even with the stock turbo, I think 2.5 is a restriction. Remember, he is running 20-21psi, not 16psi. More boost, needs more exhaust flow. I think 3" exhaust would definitely help. Those numbers are quite low for an 05. I have the same mods basically only 3", not 2.5, and I have IC piping, but he has cam gears. There isnt much of a difference with 272s and 264s with stock turbo.

Anyway, I have not only 27whp more, but check out the torque.... I have +45ft/lb of TQ. Thats the teller.

WRONG!!! I don't know if you realize this or not, but this car has a turbo. Hence, it's not naturally aspirated and the naturally aspirated rules of thumb you speak of do not apply. No exhaust is best if possible. Otherwise, go bigger. The turbo provides more backpressure than the engine needs. The turbo itself needs none. It wants none.

HKS stuff is good but I wish they made 3"
I agree to an extent about the 2.5" --> 3" debate
but if he had at least 2.75" it would be a bit better
but go with 3" all the way to compensate for any future mods

Depends on the dyno. If you go to MZM in Austin then about 175 AWHP. If you go to FIS in Dallas (or any other Mustand dyno) about 210-220, if you use a dynapack then around 190 (I think), and if you use a classic Dynojet like the mags, etc, then 230-250. Of course some are freaks and put out 260 on a Mustang. So it really depends on the dyno and the car.
