Mail-in flash price rise?

Just curious about the rise (to $300 from $200) of the "mail-in" flash from TT.. Is the rise due to additions in the software? More developement? etc..

With TT fairly close to DynoFlash I'm curious what makes up the $100 difference in the two (for my self-justification)..

Enlighten me

Not to butt in here but just to confirm that my pricing on IX flashes is $300 now and the 8' flashes will be also going to $300 as soon as my new web site is out (its under development now) The reason for the increased cost is the significant investment in hardwear and softwear to facilitate continued flashing on the revised 0300 code flashes on the 8 and the new IX ecus.

Too much for a "mail-in" flash. I'd rather spend the time on the dyno and see the #'s along w/ feeling them.

+1 that is too much...how much is a custom tune now 600 or something. 300 for a mail in for the IX sure ok its alil different when tuning or flashing that car i guess...but 300 for the VIII dont see the point regardless of software or hardware ur still making a profit, you have been flashing the VIII for what 3yrs now...and now you decided that the price needs to be increased lol. The reason why people get flashes is cause they were affordable way to tune for basic mods and get some power...i mean 300 is not hella expensive but for a flash i laugh at that price.
