one did 323whp and 335whtq@ spike to like 25 psi down to 22, this was on a mustang dyno. The other one did similar numbers that had more mods but the car was having misfiring problems

MIVEC is only controlled by the intake cam, where as the exhaust cam is still the same or similar to an 8's exhaust cam. People with IX's are only swapping the exhaust cam for a 272 or 280 cam.

Even if you used an one of the upgraded cams that are available on the intake side remember that MIVEC controls cam timing on the gear itself and not on the use of lobes like VTEC. So in this case there is really no "kick in." Basically like a dynamically adjustable cam gear on the intake side able to shift the power band on the fly...

Seems really effective, would be cool of it did both intake and exhaust! Who knows what's next!

evo ix 280 cam

i installed an hks 280 exhaust cam in my car i cant even tell its in there
i didnt notice and change in exhaust not while at idle
......be sure to bleed those lifters the start up is scary very noisy...........
