EGR Hose Disconnected During Pcola Tune

Hey mark, the hose to my egr was disconnected during the tune in pcola. I threw a cel on the way home but did not pull the code (P0401 low/insufficient egr...) until late sunday. I think it was disconnected for a while and seems to be a common problem w/evos. I just reconnected it.

Would this affect how you guys would have tuned the car? With it disconnected, I know people complain about the car running rich (uintil they reconnected it), however, you may have adjusted that out not knowing the hose was a problem.

Now it is connected again, do I need to worry about anything? Should I check AFR's?
I won't have an afr guage installed untill later this week.

Thanks.

Make sure you zip tie it man. I had the same problem before. I actually zip tied both of the hoses on mine when I had the motor out.

Can anyone describe the location of this hose, I am getting the same code. I know its near the throttle body underside somewhere. Seems like a common thing I guess.

Its hard to explain..you have to stick your hand down and behind the throttle body. Its like doing a reach around. You will be able to feel the hose thats dangling back there. Just feel your fingers around for the nipple. Just do this on a cool motor. The intake manifold can get pretty hot if you are trying to do it after its been running.
Sorry for the crappy explanation but once you start feeling around behind there you'll get it.
