Dead WideBand

I have an AEM wideband uego guage. The thing has a constant reading of 14.5 .. It wont move anymore and as a result the car likes to bog due to the throttle setting. My guess is the iwdeband is dead. I check the internal log files and 02#1 reads a constant 14.5. Please confirm

Mike the thing came back on and gave a reading last night... wtf? Was it just dirty? If so is there a way of cleaning it out? Or is this just a sign that the thing is about to go... This happened also this weekend. Dead, then came back on.

you sure you don't have a bad ground or a loose connection?

if it was a bad ground or loose connection i believe the guage wouldn't read at all. But it would be good to check. When i get back I'll solder the connection from the guage to the AEM itself, and clean out the harness from the sensor. Can I use methanol to clean the sensor?
