Another IX Tuned @ TT

I just want to say what a bunch of great guys! Baselined at 311awhp and 285awtq w/ no tune. 344awhp and 329awtq after tune. Thanks Paul and Mike! Thank you for answering all my questions and being honest about how I should continue to mod the beast.

Two step launch set at 6K RPM and redline raised to 8K RPM. Boost set @ 24psi and holds strong all the way. Can't wait to take it to MIR.

Here is the video... PS+ Can you guys email me my dyno graph along with the A/F ratio and boost curve. Thanks guys!

Naaa he meant 329 torque... at least that is what he has in his sig. Nice numbers man! The guys at TT are the best to deal with. Mark took a ton of time on my car to get it just right and I couldn't be happier. Best of luck with your future mods and keep us posted as your car progresses.

i think 24 psi is a little high to be running all the time on 93 if thats what your using. i dont see anything in your sig. that says what octane, meth, etc. injection. just my opinion. good luck anyway, our IX,s are beasts huh?

if its not knocking or showing signs of detonation then its not too much boost. every car is different.

The boost peaks at 24psi and drops to around 21psi. Paul assured me that everything was just fine and that the stock ecu is extremely intelligent and has a lot of safety features that wouldn't allow any damage to the motor.

This was on 93oct. pump gas. No alky. The car behaves like an animal. I think I may go 50 trim before the cams but who knows. If they come out with a cheaper set of cams, they are definitely going in first.

Thanks for the support guys...

Yep without tune it was 311. BC was set to 20psi max tapering to 17-18psi. I was being conservative.

Two step allows you to launch the car more consistently. It makes sure that you have enough boost off the line. Hopefully 1.6s with an aftermarket clutch...

With the number you have, you will be in low 12s high 11s. They tuned my IX with a little less hp than yours and I ran a 12 flat the first time out with 1.6 60' stock clutch. Good luck with it!
