Thanks for posting the pics. Did the kit come with the down pipe? What intake are you using with the kit? Also, why did you decide to go with TT, instead of AMS or Shearer?

Sam,

Keith makes those manifolds in house.. they look sweet with the black coating. In the very near future we are going to offer coating with our turbokits. I'll keep everyone posted.

Intake Im using a weird combo, Injen hard pipe with Ultimate Racing filter since my Injen filter was all messed up (dunno why) and Injen doesnt sell replacements, I used that.

The kit comes with the downpipe, and its frieking light

Why did I decided on TT? We are friends, they make top notch products, I did a research of turbo kits Shearer, TT, AMS & Buschur, I simply decided on TT because of the service they have given me in the past, Mark is an awesome guy, my tuner recommended TT kit, and here in PR, the AMS kits are flowing like they are paying $1000 for it (lol) and I wanted to be different, not to have what everyone has. I wanted a 50trim because I not only do Road Racing, I also drag and Im always on pump gas, so heck, 50trims like pump gas and the price was the most affordable for me.

Call Mike at the shop, you wont regret it.

I had Procoat of Tampabay do it the 1st time and it flaked off. I had a 1 yr warranty on it and after like 1 month it was chipping off. I told the owner about it and he said they were having problems with the ovens shutting off and to bring it back in to redo it. Well I did and it came back like like a million bucks again. Not much later, it did the same thing again. The one thing I noticed was that when it rained and I noticed steam coming from the engine bay I saw spots that flaked off. They looked like little burn spots Over time the areas directly below the hood vent chipped off. There is still coating on the mani but its not pretty anymore.

We sent Randy his manifold uncoated. He sent it out himself to get coated.
