if not that dyno has to be spitting out some really inflated numbers

 

Wondering why the power is falling off so early on this car? At redline it will be making less than 300whp and only 200lb-ft of torque. I thought it would dip a little or at least be somewhat flat. Before 6500 it looks great but it dies up top, at least to me.

 

Great numbers, I hate the evo IX, makes me wish I had one =p

 

Not to hijack, just got tunned on pump gas 21psi fpevo green 400/362. Love it.

 

Is this due to the stock turbo?

 

Its an MR, He brought it a little Past 7k

 

So your third gear goes to 78ish right? It just looks like a big dip in power between 6 and 7000rpms-almost 50whp, thats all. Everything else looks good you just might have to short shift the car for the best results.

 

yeah in 3rd gear at 7000rpms i am doing about 80, a little less. But its hard to look at the Tach Speedo and road at the same time doing 80mph. But I do Feel that the Car doesn't pull too hard after 6500, but up til that its all smooth. Sometimes it does have a flat spot at around 4k just a minor studder. I am going to pick up a lower IC pipe, and a FMIC. Maybe I'll change the 02 housing too. I just wanna see how much power I can pull out of the stock turbo and motor, SO I am not going to touch either for a while. But I need to wait for some money to come my way, because buying the car really damaged my wallot.

yo if you got almost 350awhp on just a boost controller, tbe, tune, and fuel pump and it took me all those mods in my sig to get to 360 im selling my evo right noww and buying a 9....

Not to thread jack but in one of the driveby videos I heard a bov noise. Does the stock metal BOV make a little bit of noise? I just bought one and was just wondering.

 

^ its makes noise if you have an aftermarket intake...
