Everything from our basic rebuild plus the following:

-new 4th gear
-new 5th gear
-new bearings

Options:

We take your transfer case, coat the ring and pinion, replace all seals, install a Quaife front diff, and upgrade the front cover bolts to 10mm.

Our transmissions and transfer cases have been tested, abused , and proven to hold 900+whp ever since our race car blasted into the 9's back in 2004. These transmission have been no-lift shifted at 10k+ RPM and have even held up to 10k rpm shifting with an ACT single disc clutch. Our transfercases have survived years of sixty foot abuse with the cars now pulling consistent mid to low 1.4's. If a fancy name re-assures you then you can call this trans the "Beansmacker " transmission. LOL, J/K We have had these transmissions and transfer cases in everything from a 350whp daily driver to a 9.1@159mph 1/4 mile monster.

Mines gonna need a rebuild soon. Do the gears and forks usually take that much of a beating, or is that only for a really fubar'd unit?

The Beansmacker....LMAO.

Beansmacker lays the smackdown all over your Bushwacker, bietch!

I've done a few 6 speeds. They are just a lot more expensive. You have to order the entire 1-2 shaft. You can't buy and 1st or 2nd gear parts seperately. That shaft alone is around $1200.

Yes

There is not getting around that weak 3rd and 4th gear. The cost of rebuliding them also like Keith said, is a lot. I think your best bet is to look for a used 5 speed or save up for a 5speed. If you are keeping your car for the long haul its a good idea! More peace of mind having that stronger 4th, and knowing it will be cheaper to build, worst case scenario.

However, if youre 6spd is in good shape, I bet you could sell it for more than buying a used 5 speed! Thats a thought too!

WOW!.....The "Beansmacker" name was a joke, and ExViTermini's comment was a joke too. Put down your Buschur pom-pom's for a minute. Have you ever shifted one of my transmissions? If you have nothing good to contribute then stay out of our thread.

Anywhere from a few days to a week depending on parts availability and what stage trans your getting. I usually try to keep most of the stuff in stock.

I always think its a good idea to change the forks. As for the gears...it depends on how they look when its taken apart.
