LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Hundreds of people working at the Long Beach port complex said they are ready to walk off the job at 12 a.m. Monday.

About 750 employees want a new contract, KNBC reported.

Negotiations were being held Sunday on wages and pension issues before the strike deadline.

A walkout could spark delays at the ports if other union workers honor the picket line.

Port officials said operations would continue in the event of a strike.

Agreed this could tie things up for those who ordered parts for a while if they go with the strike...

for people trying to get parts in. But in all honesty you can't do anything about it until they come off strike...
