hey guys we just released these new all aluminum shifters for the 02 06 lancer/evo/ralliart, they are the same thread pattern as stock so there are no need for the stupid plastic insert. they are $69 and we have them up on the site.


we also recieved them in for the 08 lancer and subaru wrx/legacy. they are different so whe u order specify the year and make of the car. these are road race brand and they are made in the USA.

Anything planned for a CVT edition? I'm guessing not, but it never hurts to ask. I hate the stock CVT knob...

 

Would it fit an 07 WRX?

 

if it is the 5 speed it should fit. fits my legacy perfect

 

i dont know yet, i will look at the cvt knob next time one comes in and see how hard it would be.

at first i thought it was ugly, but being much higher than normal knobs is a def plus. also, i'd say aluminum is a bad choice. super hot in the summer, super cold in the winter.

Screw the Knob, whats the plastic cover with the circle hole that is infront of your cubby =p? i need something like that, stuff always falls out of it lol

eh, pretty ugly. I had an aluminum knob but it was always (like stated above) too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. A for effort though.

 

That's carbon fiber, not plastic. It's the cubby hole cover that RRM sells. The hole in the middle is for a gauge.

 

Has anyone here purchased one and care to share their thoughts? I want something much higher than my current knob, and this is the only one I can find. I'd rather have an extender to use with my current knob, but this looks rather intriguing. Also, I'd have to paint it black and hopefully do a good enough job to prevent touching it up down the road.
