Thanks Wayne. When I referred to the single bend MAF pipes, I meant with cone filter intakes. Does your MAF pipe taper down in diameter from the MAF housing to the turbo inlet?

One more question: can you tell us who supplies your cone filter?

Also who makes the filter? Is it the same brand as Buschur's filter?

Our pipe is 3" all the way through. There is a silicone coupler (3" to 3.25") that attaches to the MAF. Then the 2.5" to 3" for the turbo side. I am not sure what filter Buschur uses. Ours is Vibrant. I looked into a K&N but it was twice as much and a inch longer, which made it a little tight. AEM has a new dryflow filter which is nice, I am running it on my car (maf-less) 3" version, but its even more than the K&N and their 4.5" isn't out yet.

Can you wash the vibrant filter or you just need to replace it when it's dirty?

Also does your kit come with a L bracket to prevent the filter from shaking around?

Thanks!

It is washable I orginally planned on making a bracket....but after fitting the pipe without one...I realised it isn't moving at all once it is secured to the turbo and bov. There simply is no need for one.

Washable with water or do you need a kit? It's not oiled right?

It wasn't moving with the one using the MAF pipe but what if I just order the filter?

Also does vibrant make that filter adapter also?

I just confirmed with Vibrant and they said to use the K/N air filter cleaner and light oil after drying. Out of the box they appear to be dry. Yes, Vibrant makes the MAF adapter. Yes, you can order just the 4.5" filter from us

If you are just replacing the airbox with a cone filter and keeping the stock rubber MAF pipe, then yes, you want a mounting bracket. The TurboXS intake has a mounting bracket. The Vibrant MAF adapter does not.

The maf usually gets thrown off due to the maf adapter or the bend in the maf being too close or at too much of an angle after the air hits the MAS..I have the same vibrant maf adapter and I ported and smoothed it out a bit since there was some casting flash inside. I also use the dejon pipe which is similar to this PPI peice..I did not experience any difference at all in my MAS readings.Only thing that changed was that I was getting much higher air intake temps..This intake looks like a GREAT kit, only thing left to do is get it some cooler air!
