Due to increased criminal fraudulant activity within our industry, TTP-Engineering has adopted new anti-fraud guidelines for 2008.

Regretfully, one of these new guidelines is no longer allowing tracking number information to be sent out on a number of transactions. We understand the value tracking numbers plays in the transaction, however at the cost of exposing ourselves to scammers within the industry, we simply cannot allow this to continue.

In the past, tracking numbers have been used by criminals to redirect packages through various carriers to other "non-verified" addresses with no input from the shipper whether or not to allow this change.

This obviously violates the protection we have from credit card companies by only shipping to the listed address on the card and therefore exposes us to chargebacks.

For repeat, valued customers with a long standing history purchasing through TTP-Engineering, this may not affect you. For new customers, those who have not purchased on a regular basis and international transactions, we apologize in advance but tracking info will be unavailable.

In these cases we will estimate the date of arrival and if the package is "late", we will investigate the cause and update you accordingly.

MANY OTHER EVOLUTIONM.NET VENDORS HAVE ADOPTED SIMILAR POLICIES.

I would like to give them all an opportunity to chime in here regarding their tracking info policy, so the evolutionm community is clear on what to expect on future transactions.

This is something we have been doing for a while as well once Jarrod over at Buschur told me the nightmare they encountered. Since then we will not longer give out a tracking number but AMS will gladly track any package for you while we have you on the phone

It may be a small inconvience for some, but in the end everyone wins. Plus we dont loose money or products to scammers.
