To the Evo community,
It is with great reluctance that I make this post but realistically it must be done. I have to decided to put Motion Garage up for sale as I simply don't have enough time to spend on it. Along with my day job and going to grad school, it's difficult to balance it all effectively. The business has huge potential and has been my baby for 4+ years now. I just don't have the time I used to anymore.
Starting off as myevostore.com, MG is a veteran in the USA Evo community as a brand name retailer through both locally distributed and imported/JDM parts. A lot of products now very popular for Evo owners were first distributed by us in the US. MG has also been an integral part in the Evo world as the sole distributor and main influencer of some brands - notably the Nisei Engineering brand. Many of the products had our design input from manufacture to distribution. We have many established, good-standing relationships with both suppliers and customers - both local and international. We've have the deepest discounts at almost all our suppliers, alowing us to be a wholesale distributor for the last 3 years as well as a competitively priced retail outlet. As a marketing professional, I spent a lot of time on the company branding as something similar to amazon.com in the auto aftermarket world. As a result, our brand reaches world wide - through our domestic customers along with our international recognition. I've taken great care in managing the business across all levels to ensure smooth, professional operation.
For anyone interested in jumping in to this industry you're better off saving a lot of time and buying a turn-key business like this. Brand image and customers take a while to build up and it's nice when you can start a business and already have a regular flow of customers. You could save at least a couple years in that area.
I'm looking for a serious buyer as I don't have a lot of time to waste. I'm not asking for much because I'd like someone to take this over ASAP and continue where I left off.
