I already knew all that. I am trying to get Gruppe-S to figure it out too. The OEM 9 turbo has a bigger compressor housing but it is still a 16G compressor wheel just like in the 8 turbo (although the 9 exducer diameter is a bigger, Mitsu still calls it a 16G). I want to know if they are comparing the Helix unit to a plain old 9 turbo or to the Turbocharger 20G-9 turbo that they sell on their website.

It does look like the TC.com turbo due to the 6-blade design that didn't do too well. I just hope this turbo doesn't have the same demise as that one. I can't wait for results.

What would you like to know? The IX turbo's we carry are direct replacements from Mitsubishi.

Well then they can't be a 20G-sized turbo. But in one of the posts above, you referred to them as " J-Spec Evo 9 20G".

So is it simply a J-Spec Evo 9 16G?

What's confusing everyone is that a direct replacement would be a 16g, not a 20g (which you said you get as direct replacements from Mitsu...which we know isn't possible). So what 20g is it being compared too? That's why we are all assuming it's the 20g is the Turbochargers.com turbo. It also has the same 6 blade design as the TC.com turbo.

Yes, my guy who does all of our advertising needs to stop trying to get fancy with his marketing because it is NOT an eov 9 20G. Mitsubishi did offer a 20g lt but never on the evo.

We stock and carry the evo 9 16G and we get them directly from Mitsubishi, NOT a 20g.

Saw this on the new threads that popped up. You probobly wouldve gotten substantially better response in evo1-9 drivetrain/engine/turbo forum where the rest of the omfg new turbo talk is usually.

Gauging interest? Well.. I would think, based on the volume of the other threads, that you have substantial interest, and significant amount of possible sales.. if your product caters to the common interest..

The common interest seems to be people with the usual cheap boltons, looking for an affordable bolt up alternative.

The White is a failure in that regard.. its only gain is on the far end with very high boost on more than usual boltons.

The evogreen makes some numbers.. but sadly for those of us with an IX turbo, its $1700 for a 15-20whp gain.. not exactly alot of bang for the buck.

So now we have yours, CBRD and possibly the FP red, to see how they respond to light boltons.

I'm interested, but only at a certain price/gain with my hardware.
