After all success of our lower piping it was time to make a full upper i/c pipe kit. I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish of this kit. It fits like a glove and looks amazing. From the lightweight aluminum, to the all mandrel bent tubing that is all tangent to the straight pieces, to the high quality beads (that I have yet to se any better, keeps the pipes from blowing off).

I will offer this kit for $229 for polished piping and natural welds or I can polish the welds for $10 more!

So here it is!

PPI Upper Intercooler Pipe

The wait for the PPI upper I/C pipe is over! We have spent a lot of time in developing a properly designed upper I/C pipe. The stock piece is restrictive due to its overall length and because of all the extra bends it utilizes. Our pipe is constructed from 6061 aluminum. We eliminate 6 bends and over 18" of tubing! All bends are smooth, tangent to the bends and fully mandrel bent which means the least restriction possible. Fitment is excellent and this is a very easy to install piece. Our pipe comes with a silicone coupler for throttle body and to join the 2 pipes together along with the necessary t-bolt clamps. You can use the stock coupler on the intercooler side. You will use the stock "J" hose to connect the bov to your intake pipe. This pipe will require the use of a mini-battery kit. It is a perfect fit with our Billet Mini Battery Kit. Also the stock-airbox cannot be used with this Upper Intercooler pipe. Check out the PPI Intake kit here for a perfect fit.

What makes the PPI lower i/c pipe different:
  • Our pipe is 100% percent aluminum weighing in under 1.5 pounds. Typical upper steel pipes can weigh over 5 pounds! Why add weight to your car?
  • Aluminum will disperse the heat quicker than steel tubing will. The last thing you want is an i/c pipe to do is hold in the heat in (steel will do this). The idea is to cool your charge air as quickly as possible!
  • Our piping is 2.5" the entire length throughout!
  • Our piping eliminates 6 bends and reduces over 18" of tubing length.
  • Our pipe is also made as a 2 piece design for convenience and hassle free installation, and less areas to leak.
  • We also put high-quality machine rolled beads onto our pipe to make sure a good air tight connection is made.
  • We also supply high grade 4-ply silicone couplers to connect to your throttle body and to join the 2 upper pipes along with 4 t-bolt clamps for a tight and trouble-free connection.
  • Our pipe is designed using the latest CAD technology.

Installed piqs!

Installed on my car with a Tial flange and bung for a IAT sensor...YES we can make it happen

Our bead roller that puts down the best beads I have ever seen....PERIOD. What does this mean to you! It means a better retention are for your T-bolt clamps to hold the assembly together when properly tightened!

We go the extra mile to make the best products for your Evo!

Yes, all PPI products are made in the good 'ole

Thank You,
Wayne

Thanks man!

That is a brand new Swain coated manifold I put the full port/external machining on

I try to be real carefull with it to keep it clean when I working on my car to keep its white finish looking well, white lol. It will tan a little but if handled carefully it won't chip or peel.

/\ The stock silicone coupler is a 45 deg. there...so that works just fine
