The new DDS3v10 by Aquamist - now shipping

The new DDS3v10 retains all the existing functions but a great deal more user friendly.
The gauge is now a "plug and play" affair, no more wiring.

1. Failsafe: There are several new user configurable options, where user and override the
defaults. Additional dedicated output for ECU interface.

2. Flow sensor: New improved design and user serviceable. Down time is minimal due to clogging or jamming by debris.
Nickel Brass housing ensures temperature stability and fluid compatibility.

3. Third party interface: V10 is supplied with fittings for 1/4" hose as standard. Signal interface with other WIS is truly
universal and simple. Normally, one wire is required to set up this interface.

I'm assuming VividRacing will be one. I know Sean Ivey sells the current ones but he's a tuner, not sure if he's a vendor on here.

The HFS-3 will replace the HFS-5 one day. I think I will rename the HFS-3 to HFS-7, just to give people the impression it is going be better.

I have no idea when this is going to happen, if it ever will. The market is not ready for another system yet.

I have waited a few weeks before this post, giving time for the older stock to deplete. Please do ask the aquamist reseller before purchase to be certain.

The v10 is not easily upgradable from previous version. The guage is terminated with a RJ45 connector to the junction box, as well as some circuitry changes. The only upgrade is a complete swap.

There is no price change.

As far as functionality is concerned, v10 is no more more advanced than previous models. We just tidied up the wiring and combined the FIA2 within the DDS3. This cuts down the wiring.

This is great to hear. It is one of the main reasons I bought the zt-2 multi gauge for my zeitronix. rj-11 to zt2, and bam works no power, no grounds , no BS.

so what is the maximum number of wires that need connecting now with typical evo style failsafes? i would imagine the main choice is tephra's alt map switching?
to summarize i would say most will boot install too.
.......
boot(trunk) pump and float connections = ?
front of car ecu connections = ?

Depending on the failsafe:

From DDS3v10 board... (no change from v8m 8a and v9)

- Tephra: 1 wire
- OE BCV boost cut: 2 wires
- MAC valve: 2 wires

Plus one link on board. The tephra map switch is the most effective and flexible if you prepare to spend the time.

so i could connect 3 wires to the ecu harness giving power (fused) to the junction box and the 3rd is the alt maps tephra option?
then 2 wires to the hsv
then 4 wires that go to the float level and pump trigger at the rear of car?
