how much of a difference is there between the 10w-30 and the 10w-40? im in between the two for my evo 9 with 62k miles. TIA

There are some differences, main difference is the zinc and phos contents for antiwear purposes ,,and the viscocity of tje 40 of course is thicker, the 40 is normally used for hp over 475 where higher loads and temps are seing.

im making 350 whp on pump gas and its daily driven. should i go with the 40 or the 30. what do you think?

At that level 30 is reccomended
