The version COP-EVO7F and COP-EVO8F work plug and play on EVO9gsr?

As long as it's the Pro version it will work well. The Basic version is model specific.

So the 9 basic non cdi non sequential wont fit on the evo 8?
I was told that the only difference was the plate had cut outs for the 9 valve cover and the 8 is straight all the way around.

In for the correct answer hahaha

NonCdi and basic cdi fits lower into the valve cover therefore as you mentioned you are limited by the shape of the valve cover in that area. To clarify...a Noncdi or basic cdi for an 8 will NOT fit into a 9's valve cover..the 9 will however fit the 8

It's completely different system, ALL of it. You will need to sell the one you currently have an upgrade. Thanks for the questions
