Wilson Manifolds V Series Intake Manifold Update Notification

Great news, we are picking up dealers across the US and one has a solid European customer base. Things are progressing quickly with many new concepts on the table and designs being finalized now.

At this time I would also like to announce the latest developments with the W Series intake manifolds. After bringing the V Series intakes back in house and establishing a dealer network. We have updated the designs to meet new specific performance applications. As of yesterday we have discussed running batches of 50 at a time since the response for W Series intakes has increased since bringing them back in house. With the creation of the dealer network the cost of the W Series intake manifolds has been reduced at the distributor and the consumer levels. Interested parties should contact Wilson Manifolds sales at 954-771-6216 for direct sales, to find a dealer in your area, or to become a dealer for Wilson Manifolds components.

Thank you for the continued support and well wishes. We appreciate each and every one and will do our best to provide the highest quality Evolution components ever produced. Indy

CO_VR4 we will not be releasing any info on how they are updated. I had five updates ready to go for the V2, and five updates for the VO before we brought them in house. We felt the time was right to introduce the W2.4 and the W0.2 as our current models. Lets just say they both have significant changes involved.

9sec9 will be sporting the all new Next Generation Advanced ET intake manifold from Wilson Manifolds. It will be machined from a solid billet and will set the standard for all out race applications. This manifold was designed as an all out no excuses example of what Wilson Manifolds is capable of when given a blank sheet of paper to design the ultimate Evolution intake manifold.

There have been rumors that I have been sitting on a composite intake for about a year. This is absolutely a fact. I assisted in the construction an intake manifold from the same materials for a factory LeMans effort back in 2000. I have built all of the molds and they are at the composite shop now. Since joining Wilson Manifolds I now have the resources to take this concept to reality. This will not be sold to the public, but it will be used for future R&D efforts.

The one thing about Wilson Manifolds that most do not understand, we will not bring to market an inferior product period, there is really no point to that. However when we do start on a project, we do not stop until it is absolutely superior in every way.

Thank you for your inquiries and your orders, Indy

Great to hear that the V-Series is still going strong and improving. I am still interested in the V0 version and am curious what improvements the V0.2 has.

Wilson Manifolds W Series intake manifolds will now be custom built per application.

The W0.2 will be an off the shelf, fully prepared entry level street manifold with the option of stock or 65 mm throttle body opening.

The W1-2 will now be available custom built per application, or you have the option to select from one of our existing updates.

These intakes will now be targeted to meet the specific needs of the customer. Why buy a generic intake when you can now have a intake custom built to your combination. All Wilson Manifolds come completely cleaned, prepared, and inspected at a level only available to the professional motorsports community until now. Come join our winning team of customers who demand only the very best in quality and performance.

Please contact Wilson Manifolds directly to place your order. Thank You, Indy

Indy,

Can you explain in more detail what the selections are that are available in the custom built, and what the targets are for the W0.2 and W1-2 "existing updates"?

Are the "existing updates" the same as the V1 or V2 that were being run during the last year, or have there been improvements there too?

Have there been any pricing changes?

Also, what 9sec9's dyno sheet compares beween the solid and dotted lines?

Thanks!

CO_VR4 , I'm right in the middle of getting parts finished for the Nitro cars running this weekend at the NHRA race in Phoenix. They have to be on the jet by 12:00. I will post up the info after I get back from the airport. Indy

CO_VR4

The W0.2 is designed to be run with a stock frame turbo with a minimum of bolt on modifications. It retains the stock throttle body opening with the option to enlarge the ID to 65mm. It has updated runners, plenum modifications, and is fully sonic cleaned and soda blasted inside and out.

The W1 is designed for low to mid range RPM operation with moderate levels of boost. It takes the W0.2 to the next level of performance. This was designed with the autocross or TT guys in mind. It has fully ported runners and plenum work and can be optioned to work in a specific RPM range.

The W2 is designed for all out race applications where a OEM based intake is required using a large frame turbo or high boost applications. This intake shines at the upper RPM ranges from 7000 to 9800. The earlier iteration was a proven performer in drag, and long track TA events. The new W2 takes it further with the capability to be built to suit an individuals engine combination.

All W Series intake manifolds can be optioned with the Wilson ID tag on the bottom side of the intake for competition use where running a modified OEM intake crosses into the grey area of the rule book. W Series intake manifolds have been updated from the previous spec to our new specs that are generations ahead of what was previously produced last year. There have been price reductions at the retail level after bringing the intake manifolds back in house. They will be posted shortly.

And if we currently have a V2 that we would like to send it to have modified for our specific use/specs, I am assuming that this is possible?

Thanks
Sean

After reading about that 2.3 with 500 ft lbs @ 3500 RPM I have some new ideas for you.
