Jedi I installed the Nisei one piece UIP and it looks great! On your Nisei LIP; does this unit come in a one piece, or only as a two piece? Also on the Maxum website there are two different ones. The 6061 (more expensive) and the 1018 LIP. What is the difference? Thanks

Looks like one is alum and one is steel. That is a one piece LIP from what I can see, the other pipe in the picture is the turbo inlet pipe.

I think the most important question is:
How do you pronounce Nisei? Don't want to sound like an idiot when I'm telling people what mods I have.

isn't the stock upper ic pipe flexible to accomodate engine movement/flex? hence other companies do two piece with silicone hose couplers to provide the spacing for slight engine movement?

if it's a single piece hard mount on the radiator frame, what are you doing to cope with engine movement? just your supplied hose coupler?

They've had their test platform tracking for many months now. To date there has been no problems but, if you are worried about engine flex Nisei also offer's 2pc units as well. Type A & Type B.

Let me know if you want the details on the 2pc units.

install went pretty well, my only "thing" is that these T-bolts are so easy to overtighten.

CJ, 213-909-8022.

Sorry we don't have this in stock. We should be getting some more in about 1-2 weeks. Working on locking down a solid ETA.

These pipes should work with any aftermarket FMIC that fits the stock piping.

Nisei Engineering Pipes :

  1. Work with Stock FMIC.
  2. Fit with Stock AIRBOX.
  3. Complete with all hardware to install.
  4. Include Hose Techniques couplers which carry a Lifetime Warranty against breakage/tearing.

Not to mention the Paypal/EvoM Promo is still being honored.

If you don't see me posting on the boards... shoot me a pm... I'm always doing that! Normal Jed is to sign in... repond to PM's and sign out... and handle daily business. I'm online as much as I can possibly afford to be. Let me know if you guys need anything!

Jed

P.S. The LIP/Intake fits just as nicely as the UIP!
hi jed how much shipped to 10962
